"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

After months of being inactive on this account, I managed to come up with an entirely new work that I never thought in my mind I could pull off.
Now, I have several messages to the budding artists here on deviantART who may come across my page.
-Critique is the best thing that you can learn from. Drawing books, tutorials, and other artists will help you in the right direction but critique is how you improve.
-Practice will get you anywhere and everywhere. I have had artists blow me off before and who were, obviously, no help at all in my search for improvement. You have to push yourself to improve and the only way you can do that is to keep on sketching.
-Keep the sketches you create. I have gone through my sketches and I have seen major differences over the years. No matter how god-awful your earlier works look, they will help in your improvement of becoming a better artist.
And that's about it. As far as my art goes, I plan on doing more drawings, possibly a series of drawings.
One other detail, I plan to scrap my earlier works. I also plan to make a few more changes around my page but that will come at some point or another.
